“The mind that is driven by the urge of necessity, or out of love to create, develops more rapidly than does the mind that is never stimulated to greater action than that which is necessary for existence. The imaginative faculty of the human mind is the greatest piece of machinery ever created.”
“The Law of Success: In Sixteen Lessons” by Napoleon Hill
Never more so true than now. When the going gets tough, the tough get creative. This is why we are reaching out to people and organisations we’ve connected with one way or another over the last few years to check in, say hello and find out what creative entrepreneurs are doing to improve wellbeing for all. We have been lucky to work with really inspiring people and organisations who thrive on thinking outside the box, especially in times like this. Some of you will be even busier connecting and supporting people in need, and others may find yourselves now, or sometime in the future, in a position to reflect on your vision, strategic direction and how you operate your organisations – ready for when the situation improves.
We also know what it’s like when things get tough. When we went through a rough patch, rather than feel sorry for ourselves, we took the decision to “create” a range of online and self-paced programs – we now have programs for grant writing, strategic planning, partnerships and a brand new program to complement our ‘entrepreneurial thinking’ mentoring program. This is not a sell – this is just to let you know what is available when the time is right for you. When you’re ready, let’s have a conversation and see how together, we can create your new future direction.. In the meantime, we have some free resources available on our recently redeveloped website – thecommunityentrepreneur.com. and we will continue to add more resources over the next few weeks – just as soon as we have created them! One final piece of creative thinking – “say you can’t and do it anyway”. The rewards of achievement are so satisfying. |
PS – we are looking for some inspiring stories to share with the wider community – would love to hear from you
